Whiling away my Sunday afternoon....

Lazy Sunday afternoons are meant to be spent doing nothing: nothing resembling work, nothing resembling productivity. So I weigh my choices (aside from blogging!).

Should I layout on the daybed and catch an episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain?

Should I rewatch the premier of Project Runway season 5?

I could login to World of Warcraft and troll around for fun and adventure involving dragons and fire balls.

Or I could check out who is on skype and see what's happing with friends across the oceans and across the borders.

And, if the kids weren't at Grandma's house, I could pick up their Nintendo DS (which they seem to carry with them everywhere) and try a few training sessions on Brain Age.

A year ago the choice for me to relax and enjoy myself would have been to pick up a paint brush and whip out a painting or two. Somewhere along the way my drive and passion has shifted. At first I was a little puzzled. I had ideas to paint, but no driving passion to do so. I thought I lost my creative edge, but I do realize now that it is just shifting and evolving. I delved into redesigning my website and redecorating my home. I even figured out how to rewire a chandelier. Art and creativity can be found in many forms and I look forward to where my creative journey will take me...
